The planet Nexus is open again. Pick a faction, choose your class and path, and play the final release of WildStar on a community server.
Six classes
Every class can deal damage, and each one fills a second role: tank or healer. Hover a card, or press play, to see the class in action.
An unstoppable juggernaut who destroys enemies with brute force and deadly weaponry: cutting them down with swords and ripsaw shields, or blasting them to pieces with a trusty arm cannon.
Innate Stance: Onslaught, Stance: Juggernaut
Uses technological mastery to craft the right tool for any situation, most notably the ones where heavy firepower is a necessity. Bots such as the Bruiserbot and Artillerybot fight at the Engineer's side.
Innate Mode: Provoke, Mode: Eradicate
A master of illusion who attacks with powerful psychic weapons and projects inspiring visions to heal friends and allies. Combat with an Esper is a deadly phantasmal dance that torments enemies with their darkest fears.
Innate Spectral Form
Medics thrive in the thick of battle, healing those who fight beside them and crushing those who stand before them.
Innate Energize
Strikes ferociously with claws, using advanced stealth technology to land multiple blows, and a mix of tech abilities to control the battlefield, leaving a pile of corpses in its wake.
Innate Nano Skin: Agile, Evasive, Lethal
A steely-eyed gun for hire with deadly precision and acrobatic agility. Hair-trigger pistols and powerful magic blast enemies with a barrage of bullets, or cast runic sigils that sow destruction.
Innate Spell Surge
Resources, weapons and armour come from the final WildStar client's tables, roles from the Jabbithole database, and the descriptions are adapted from the in-game class text. Clips are the game's own character-select videos.
Four paths
Every character also picks a path, with its own missions, rewards and tools in every zone.
SoldierSoldiers tackle combat-heavy missions, gaining access to special weaponry and objectives as they fight across Nexus, often against wave after wave of enemies.
SettlerSettlers tame the wilds of Nexus, collecting resources to build improvements for everyone: defenses, civil services and expansions to the towns of the frontier.
ScientistScientists study the planet's exotic flora, dangerous fauna and ancient technology. An upgradeable scanbot scans creatures and uncovers lore: knowledge is power.
ExplorerExplorers head for the most dangerous places on Nexus and claim territory for their faction by finding hidden paths, exploring secret caves and climbing the tallest mountains.
Two factions
Two powers fight over the lost world of the Eldan. Choose your side, then choose one of its four races.
A powerful interstellar empire that has ruled the galaxy for two thousand years. As heir to the Eldan legacy, the Dominion considers Nexus its rightful domain and has claimed the legendary planet for its own.
A ragtag group of refugees, rebels and mercenaries from across the galaxy. Driven from their homeworlds by the Dominion, they have come to planet Nexus to find a new home.
What's being restored
Nexus Reborn runs WildStar's final client against a server rebuilt in the open. Here is where each part of the game stands. The numbers update from the progress dashboard.
The leveling journey comes first: zone quests, story and the creatures that fill every map, tested every night by server-side bots.

The website is live. Accounts are invite-only while the realms are in testing: if you have a code, you can create your account today.

The focus is the 1 to 50 journey: quests, zones and creatures. Crafting, dailies and contracts wait until leveling plays well.

NexusForever PTR 2 runs beside the first realm. It hosts the nightly soak test, where hundreds of creatures fight server-side bots to catch regressions.

No. Nexus Reborn is an unofficial, non-commercial fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCSOFT or Carbine Studios. WildStar closed in 2018; the server software is the open-source NexusForever emulator.
No. There is no store, subscription or paid item.

It is in active development. Much of the leveling game works, and every part is tracked publicly on the progress dashboard. Expect bugs, and expect them to get fixed.
The realms are test realms while the server is being rebuilt. They restart for new builds, and progress may be reset before a full launch.
Sign-ups are invite-only while the realms are in testing, so the server can grow at a pace it can handle. Codes are shared on Discord.
